Every single illegal immigrant in every county in the US pays the EXACT same property tax (millage rate) on their living space as those who are legal. Every tax commission in every US county makes no difference in collecting property taxes on rental units of apartments and houses, as opposed to those who own the property. Property taxes for these people are paid out of their monthly rental fees (at the end of the year) paid to landlords or a mortgage holder. No exceptions, except for church parsonages.
Property taxes pay for local schools, hospitals and local government funding. Every undocumented Hispanic family contributes! In addition, there are not two lines at department stores, one for legals to pay sales taxes, and one for non-legals to skip paying sales taxes. These sales taxes are paid equally by all. Many illegal workers do indeed pay state income taxes, federal taxes, Medicare and Social Security contributions…72 billion dollars last year alone. They do this using a Federal nine digit number called an ITIN. This process allows illegal America workers to pay all the same taxes as you and I pay.
They do not get back refunds or SS services, though. They pay, but don’t get the benefits. There are not 11 million illegal workers in front of your local lumber yard waiting for day labor jobs, paid with cash for their efforts. If we allow legal teenagers to mow lawns, babysit, clean a house, paint a house, collect rubbish…all for cash, without paying taxes, as many American teenagers do, what’s the difference? Isn’t that illegal, too?
In my state of Georgia, the legislature just passed a law that prohibits illegal students who are academically qualified from attending all public colleges, even when they pay triple tuition rates and their parents paid taxes, like all of us, to pay for college faculty salaries, electricity and technology on the campus. If we drive off illegal immigrants, we’d be shooting ourselves in the feet from lost taxes, and lost quality labor, like those who fill 100% of the work positions in the local chicken processing plants in my neighborhood, or picking the apples, peaches and peanuts in my state.
They are doing us a favor! Lets behave like REAL Christians, and find a way to help them be legal, rather than spewing anger toward our neighbor. What would Jesus do? My Jesus would would say SHAME on your website. Scripture backs it up, friends! What a bunch of b.s. for lack of better words… It is very apparent the type of STRAIN that illegal immigrants put on this nation each and every year. It is true that they pay into SS and never see a return on that. It is true that they too pay sales tax. And yes their rent monies go towards paying the property taxes on their rentals, but you would have to be a d**n fool to think that this even comes close to the amount doled out each year on public schooling for illegals, free health care for illegals, public assistance for illegals with “anchor babies”, prison costs for the astounding population of illegals being housed in our jails and prisons. Let’s just hand these people a free ride through amnesty and the amount the nation spends on public assistance for illegals alone goes from 10 billion a year to 26 billion when the whole family is eligible for benefits, instead of just the “anchor babies” Great idea;) And then when the rest of the world sees that there are no consequences for breaking the law in our country, instead, you are in fact rewarded, see where we are again in 20 years…Get real!!! Deportation and upholding this nations LAWS is the only REALISTIC way of really SOLVING the problems we face with illegal immigration.

That is a load of Bull.. Sure they all have ITIN number.. I am in construction and you can’t tell me all the Illegals who run to my truck at Home Depot have that number.. And the one who do pay taxes i can tell you right now do not add up to how much they take in welfare, medi-cal,and in social security. You should quit lying
B.S.is that all anyone has to say? More should be done and said. Do you really believe all these illegal aliens are walking into govt.offices asking for tax no. Only in your wildest dreams they are…As the person said above, they drive around without licenses and insurance causing accidents, they can’t pay for. God forbid if they kill someone. One thing I’ve noticed is that most these people who are against illegal immigration are right wing conservatives. Conservatives who are alleged christians and believe in christ. I see a multitude of generalizations, like we don’t contribute to the tax pool, we are all welfare suckers, most are gang members. Are you not suppose to be like jesus, love thy neighbor. Don’t get me wrong I’m not for total amnesty for illegals, but i believe as humans we deserve a fair shot at a happy life. I don’t understand why some Americans feel so entitled about their country.. if all illegals left it would devastate the economy instantly, those 11 million people would stop buying goods, and paying sales taxes….they would leave a void in the job market , because not every jobless american is willing to do a minimum wage job. sam and everyone, no one is saying illegal immigrants are bad people or that they don’t have the right to provide a good life for themselves.i agree that the solution must be comprehensive, fair and respectful. it’s just that the numbers don’t add up. there is a drain on the system, and it’s the SYSTEM’S fault-it’s broken! and this isn’t a political issue. i understand many make it that, but it’s not; it’s common sense. it goes way beyond conservative vs. liberal. if you don’t understand the difference between legal immigration and illegal immigration then you need to be more open-minded and investigate further. maybe the immigration laws need to change. maybe we need to allow more people to come here legally; but the law is the law and the people who are citizens agree to live under the law and respect it; if we don’t we are punished.why should it be different for illegal immigrants? and let’s not forget, many conservatives and republicans recognize that deportation is not the answer; president bush and senator mccain have publicly backed plans to make it easy for undocumented residents to become citizens.
I agree with both sides! I am torn! But how does that make sense, right? I was born and raised in America from parents who came to the U.S during the Amnesty period. Both my parents are residents and will eventually become citizens. They have SS#, my dad always had health insurance for us, he worked legally, he was doing everything”Americanized”. I understand that many fleet their country for a better life but they should ALWAYS continue to do it the right way. They way MY parents did. I would also like to point out that when these illegal immigrants are getting HIRED at these jobs these “bosses”/”higher up”will hire them anyways! Why?Bc they work for less. As a Hispanic we need to educate our own, we need to encourage the young ones to not followthe wrong path. I am not trying to compare crimes, but I am sure there are alot of drug dealers, bank robbers, two-bit thugs, scam artists, and many other groups that break the law in order to “make a better life for themselves and their families”. While there are different degrees, they are all breaking the law. I can’t just be a homeless guy that happens to enter someone’s house through an open garage, eat your food, sleep in your bed, and basically demand the same rights as the residents. It simply does not work that way.
And think what you will, but the money spent on social services for illegal immigrants FAR exceeds the tax dollars collected. Alot of illegal immigrants are indeed getting tax refunds (as high as $10k, $20k, even $30k, on relatively low salaries). Some are even claiming children that do not even live in the states. This is a fact. Look it up. I also personally know a family that owns a home and is not having the taxes escrowed, and brag about the fact that they have not payed their property taxes in over 7 years!! Think they’re the only ones?

You want to see discrimation come to Dalton Ga. Whitfield county Police held 300 road blocks in the Dalton Area in 2011, which has a 75 percent hispanic popalation 300 tickets were given out 2456 were to white, 285 were to blacks and the rest were to Hispanic you do the math!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They don’t pay there fines or show up for court so the police don,t waste there time when they break the law they are told to look the other way.Unless it is a major crime. How do I know this I am one of the them.
